In most instances, company work vans today are cheap Asian knockabouts, driven into the ground with little care or maintenance and, with a degree of sheer, dumb luck, scrape through the warranty period intact. On their last, gasping legs they are traded or sold as is and a new, unsuspecting victim brought in to replace it - and so the cycle goes!
