After Seath Craig wrapped his custom Torana around a tree, the 18 year old was introduced to a more sedate 1966 Beetle that his parents considered a safer option. The bug instantly took hold, and Seath and his grandfather got stuck into learning the ins and outs of these cheap, fun German cars. The backyard soon became littered with several Beetles as part cars, and Seath was well on the way to VW fanaticism. But as quickly as it had all started, the party ended, and Seath sold the lot and moved away from the scene without a second thought. Still immersed in cars, he was a regular at the Bright Hod Rod Run in Victoria, and it was during one such run that he spotted a couple of girls driving a ratty looking Beetle. His latent VW spark was immediately re-ignited and in a short span of 4 weeks he had found his new VW ride - a 1960 Beetle. The madness had began all over again!
